The GA1E body is made from a combination of solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, a perfect balance of tonewoods that has been used by many throughout the history of acoustic guitars.
Auditorium Cutaway Body Type
With dimensions of 4 5/8ā³ (117mm) body depth, upper bout width at 11 1/2ā³ (292mm) and lower bout width at 16ā³ (405mm), the Grand Regalās body size is perfectly in between the large Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert. This makes the Grand Regal ideal for both strumming/flatpicking and fingerstyle playing and suits the versatile acoustic player who prefers to have one guitar to cover a variety of sounds and playing styles.
